Balehonnur(Kannada:ಬಾಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರ್) is a village in the Chikkamagaluru district of the Indian state of Karnataka. Town is located on bank of Bhadra river and is a green, picturesque place,with an average rainfall of 80 inches a year and dominated by coffee estates, arecanut, paddy fields, pepper, vanilla and other spices. It is the location of the main Hindu Matha belonging to veerashiva pantha called as, Sri Rambhapuri Matha. It is one of the oldest temple in Karnataka.
