Tadiyandamol (Tadiyandamale) is the second highest mountain in Karnataka only after Mullayanagiri in Chickamagalur district. Situated near to Kakkabe town in Kodagu district, Tadiyandamol is a trekkers paradise. The views from the hill top are awesome and breathtaking.

Route Distance:

Tadiyandamol is 260km from Bangalore.

Route 1: Bangalore - Mysore - Hunsur - Periyapatana - Siddapura - Napoklu - Kakkabe - Tadiyandamol.
Route 2: Bangalore - Mysore - Hunsur - Tithimathi - Gonikoppal - Virajpet - Kakkabe - Tadiyandamol.
Route 2 is longer than Route 1. One can easily reach Virajpet in KSRTC bus from Bangalore. There is only one Rajahamsa to Napoklu. From Virajpet there are enough number of private buses to Kakkabe. There is no need of any Forest pass or guide for trekking. Be prepared to encounter leeches.
Best time of visit:
For a memorable trekking experience visit during the post monsoon months from September to December. During summers the place goes dry still its worth trekking it.
